For about close to 1000 kms, Himachal Tribal Circuit route clings, slips, slides, punches and wriggles its way through some of the most spectacular terrain in the world. Along the way it crosses high altitude passes, fords, streams and rivers and it clings precariously to tumbling mountain surfaces. Our trip involved covering about 2000 kms in nine days, riding 10-12 hours a day, as we started and ended the ride at Ambala. In my ten years of biking experience, this was the most mind-boggling and maybe one of the toughest trips I have ever undertaken.
