After doing our bit of exploring Scotland’s second largest city Glasgow for couple of days, we laid our hands on the launch pad for the highlands, which was a cute Toyota Yaris, and we set off to explore this amazing country called Scotland, considered to be one of the most gorgeous places on earth. This road trip did not disappoint us at all, as the next few days turned out to be the best of the trip. We made the quaint little Scottish town of Inverness as our base and drove around the highlands reaching all the way to Isle of Skye as well. The magnificent Lochs and the stunning castles kept us company and the occasional visit to one of many Scotch Distilleries keep diverting our attention from the beautiful scenic route.
