Xploring Shakespeare’s Birth Place
Brindleyplace – B’gham’s Buzz !!!

My first destination was ‘Saadda Barrminggam’, the pure reason that I got an excellent flight deal for this place. Apart from the buzzing nightlife of this city, I also got an opportunity to make a day trip to Stratsford-upon-Avon – Shakespeare’s Birthplace which is just a short drive from Birmingham. This small tranquil town knows what its visitors want, and it delivers the Shakespeare Experience to them pre-packaged, all ready to consume. Stratsford-upon-Avon duly lives up to the connection of its famous son, presenting to the tourist a carefully crafted veneer of Shakespeareana. Later on the trip, we also visited Manchester, which was the main destination while planning for this UK trip. It was to tick-mark two things from my Bucket List – a visit to ManU Football Club & above all, watching the God himself, Roger Waters – ‘Live in Flesh’, performing The Wall in Manchester Arena.

Our Wales experience began with exploring the Welsh countryside of Conwy Valley, Snowdonia National Park & beach town of Llandudno in Northern Wales, and terminated with one of England’s most celebrated and mythic landscapes, The Lake District. The 3-hour train ride from Northern Wales to the Lake District is postcard heaven, with the English countryside at its best, and which can be only enjoyed by a Brit-Rail journey.
